not sure, there might be a more proper way to do this, but you can just set alpha to 0 for the material

when i set text none the background texture is still visible

uhm, i don't have a ready plugin. just made a quick messy lua script, that works only for this specific model, and it grabs many extra materials instead of the right one.

ask the guys on this forum to write a plugin if you don't know how, maybe even someone will reply here though. or wait till tomorrow, i'll try to find a cleaner way to get a pointer to the carplate material
